The variety was part of the Ben Quisinberry Collection, who also contributed the variety Brandywine.  Stump of the World is a bit smaller but more productive than Brandywine.  Like Brandywine, it offers outstanding, rich, complex flavor which lands it on the list for best tasting tomatoes.
