Great White is typically considered the best and the biggest of the white tomato varieties. When ripe, these tomatoes are a lovely ivory color with hints of yellow and an occasional blush at the blossom end. Test the ripeness of these tomatoes by pressing them gently, as the flesh should yield slightly under pressure when they are ripe. They have very few seeds and are low in acid, and are known for being rather exotic in taste with a sweet melon-like flavor with notes of guava. The indeterminate plants extremely productive, and also quite hardy and they have a great amount of foliage to protects against sunscald.  Prune suckers to promote fruiting rather than foliage.
